All silencers from Stalon, except for the Stalon RF, feature a telescopic design. This is an intentional construction that improves the balance of the rifle, reduces the total extension of the weapon, and makes the hunt smoother and more manageable.
A telescopic silencer is designed so that a large part of the silencer extends backwards over the barrel, not just forward from the muzzle. This brings a number of practical benefits:
The Stalon X-series is a clear example of how a telescopic design can be optimized. In the series, three different back-ends are combined with two different front-ends, allowing you to adapt the silencer depending on hunting style and personal needs. All models with "108" in the name extend the barrel by only 108 mm, while the "149" models extend it by 149 mm.
Since the rest of the silencer builds backwards over the barrel, it doesn’t affect weapon handling in the same way a front-mounted silencer does. The back-ends come in different lengths, tailored to specific preferences and uses.
Stalon VR is also built with the same telescopic design. Both VR and VR-Venti extend the weapon by 139 mm, with 52 mm reaching over the barrel.
The balance of your firearm affects everything from precision to endurance. A front-heavy rifle can be difficult to hold steady, especially during long sits or when moving through dense forest. With a telescopic silencer, the center of gravity shifts closer to the body, making the firearm:
A common misconception is that the entire silencer adds length to the weapon. But in Stalon’s telescopic design, only the front-end extends forward from the muzzle, either 108 mm or 149 mm.
The rest of the silencer sits over the barrel, which is both smart and intentional, all to ensure the best possible hunting experience.
In summary, a telescopic silencer gives you a more balanced weapon with a shorter actual extension. It improves how the rifle feels both when shooting and moving, and thanks to interchangeable front-ends, the silencer can easily be adapted to different hunting styles.
And that’s exactly why all our silencers, except for the RF, are telescopic. When form, function, and balance lead the way, this design wins. Every time.
